Hastelloy C276 sheets and plates are composed of approximately 57% nickel, 15-17% molybdenum, 14.5-16.5% chromium, 4-7% iron, and 3-4.5% tungsten, with small amounts of cobalt, manganese, and silicon. This advanced composition provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, including pitting and crevice corrosion in harsh chemical environments. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 100 ksi (690 MPa), yield strength of 45 ksi (310 MPa), and elongation of 40-50%, making it highly durable and resilient under stress. These properties make Hastelloy C276 sheets and plates ideal for demanding applications in chemical processing, marine environments, and high-temperature systems.
