Hastelloy C22 sheets and plates are composed of approximately 56% nickel, 20-22.5% chromium, 12.5-14.5% molybdenum, and 2-6% iron, with small amounts of cobalt, tungsten, and manganese. This balanced composition provides exceptional resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents, as well as excellent protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 100 ksi (690 MPa), yield strength of 45 ksi (310 MPa), and elongation of 50-60%, ensuring superior durability and resilience under extreme conditions. These properties make Hastelloy C22 ideal for chemical processing, marine applications, and high-temperature environments.
