Stainless Steel 439 Channel is a ferritic stainless steel containing around 17–19% chromium, stabilized with titanium for improved weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. This composition provides good oxidation resistance and better corrosion performance than basic ferritic grades. Mechanically, it offers moderate tensile and yield strength, good ductility, and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
