It also contains small amounts of carbon (0.15-0.40%) and manganese (0.60-1.00%), which enhance its strength and toughness. The alloy can be hardened through heat treatment to increase its mechanical properties. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 560 MPa, a yield strength of 310 MPa, and an elongation of 15-25% in 50 mm. Its hardness typically ranges from 500 to 600 HB, making it suitable for wear-resistant applications.
