DIN 2.4360 Circle is primarily composed of 63% nickel and 28-34% copper, with small amounts of iron (2.5%), manganese (2%), and carbon (0.3%). This composition gives it exceptional resistance to corrosion, especially in marine and chemical environments. Mechanically Monel 400 exhibits a tensile strength of 550-700 MPa, yield strength of 240-345 MPa, and elongation of 30%, ensuring high durability under stress. It has a melting range of 1300-1350°C and remains stable at elevated temperatures. Its combination of toughness, resistance to pitting and stress corrosion, and excellent thermal conductivity make it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
