UNS N05500 Circle is a nickel-copper alloy primarily composed of 63% nickel, 27-33% copper, and 2.3-3.15% aluminum, with 0.35-0.85% titanium. It also contains trace amounts of iron (2%) and carbon (0.25%). This composition provides enhanced strength and hardness compared to Monel 400 due to the addition of aluminum and titanium. Mechanically, Monel K500 exhibits a tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and elongation of 20%. It offers excellent resistance to corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and high-temperature environments, making it ideal for demanding applications in marine, aerospace, and chemical industries.
