Stainless Steel 446 is a high-chromium ferritic stainless steel containing approximately 23–27% chromium. This composition provides excellent resistance to oxidation, scaling, and corrosion at high temperatures. Mechanically, the alloy offers moderate tensile strength, good toughness, and stable mechanical properties under thermal exposure.
