Stainless Steel 309S Foils are low-carbon austenitic stainless steel alloys containing high chromium (22–24%) and nickel (12–15%). This composition provides excellent oxidation resistance and good strength at elevated temperatures while reducing the risk of carbide precipitation during welding.
