Nickel Alloy 201 (UNS N02201) is composed primarily of nickel (99%) with small amounts of copper, iron, manganese, silicon, and carbon. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. The mechanical properties of Nickel Alloy 201 include a tensile strength of 55-75 ksi (379-517 MPa), yield strength of 30-50 ksi (207-345 MPa), and elongation of 30-40%. The alloy exhibits good thermal and electrical conductivity and excellent formability and weldability, making it suitable for use in industries requiring resistance to corrosion at moderate temperatures.
