Nickel Alloy 201 Channel is composed primarily of nickel (approximately 99%) with small amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, and iron. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, especially in reducing environments, and is highly resistant to alkalis. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 55-75 ksi (380-520 MPa), yield strength of 30 ksi (205 MPa), and elongation of 45% in 8 inches (200 mm). It also has a hardness of 70 Rockwell B. This alloy is ideal for applications in chemical processing, aerospace, and other industries requiring high corrosion resistance.
