Duplex Steel Sheet and Plates S32205 are composed of approximately 22-23% chromium, 5-6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, with small amounts of manganese, nitrogen, and carbon. This composition results in a balanced microstructure of austenite and ferrite, offering superior mechanical properties. The plates exhibit a tensile strength of 680-860 MPa, yield strength of 450-620 MPa, and elongation of 25-40%. S32205 demonstrates excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and general corrosion, making it suitable for use in aggressive environments like chemical processing, oil & gas, and marine applications.
