Super Duplex Steel S32760, also known as SAF 32760, is a highly corrosion-resistant alloy composed of approximately 25% chromium, 4% nickel, 7% molybdenum, and small amounts of tungsten, nitrogen, and copper. Its composition offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in harsh environments like seawater. The mechanical properties of S32760 include high tensile strength of 620-900 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and elongation of around 25%. It also exhibits good weldability and impact toughness, making it suitable for demanding applications in chemical, oil, and gas industries.
