UNS N10276 foils boast a superior chemical composition, featuring approximately 57% nickel, 16% molybdenum, 15.5% chromium, 5.5% iron, and trace amounts of cobalt, tungsten, manganese, and silicon. This composition ensures excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. Mechanically, these foils offer a tensile strength of around 690 MPa, a yield strength of 283 MPa, and an elongation of approximately 40%, making them both strong and ductile. The high molybdenum and chromium content enhances their ability to withstand oxidizing and reducing agents, while their low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, ensuring exceptional performance in critical applications.
