Nickel Alloy 201 Foils comprise 99% nickel, with small amounts of manganese, copper, iron, and carbon. This composition provides excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in alkaline environments and organic acids. The alloy maintains good mechanical properties at both low and moderate temperatures. It offers high strength, excellent ductility, and good weldability. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 55-75 ksi (380-520 MPa), yield strength of 20-30 ksi (140-210 MPa), and elongation of 30-50%.
